Unable to edit images using IE

IE doesn't open an image edit window in Dashboard:Page:Edit.
Firefox and Chrome open an image edit window but can't get the image to float right.

I can set text to dot points in admin but they don't appear on the page.
Otherwise I love the theme and will definitely pay for it if these niggles are fixable.
