Dear SMTHEMES!

I would like to ask for help.
www.eszterkineziologia.hu
Currently use WordGrass template, the submenu works.
I would like to switch to a new template. If I turn on another template, the submenus will disappear.
I tried to disable every extension, but it did not change.

Best regards.
Gabor
Hi!

Dou you mean that you are going to update the same theme by installing a new version of it? If so - probably, your menu settings are going down. You will just have to go to the page Appearance --> Menus and choose the needed menu once again for your top and main menus.

To prevent any resets you would better update on a server side:

1) Make a backup of the existing theme ( of course )
2) Upload new theme archive to the wp-content/themes folder
3) Delete current theme folder + unpack a new one theme right away

In this case all the settings will be saved.
Dear Dave!

Thanks for the reply.
I do not want to update the template, but I want to add a completely new one. (New mobile menu, 2016 after template)
Works with the old variety themes perfectly.
Wordpress works perfectly with its free themes.
I joined the problem.

Hi!
I don't understand - if you change the template the problem won't be related to the current theme. I'm not sure how I can help you. Our theme support multilevel menus. It works on your website as well. However, you have changed the theme a lot. And the mobile version as well as the desktop one looks different from the original version.
Could you describe the problem in details, please.
Hi!

I hope the pictures will make my problem understandable.

Thanks!
Gabor

Of course, this is one more step to understanding - now I understand that you are going to switch to OUR theme ItoBuz. Here is it:https://smthemes.com/itobuz/. The multilevel option works there properly as you may see on demo. Looks like menu doesn't have drop down menu items. However, I need an ability to inspect your page to give you a solution. Unfortunately, it is impossible with a screenshot.
Exactly what is needed to examine the site?
Just does not work with templates after 2016th (Tried more)
I'm ready to test a site where Itobuz theme is installed, but you gave me the only URL www.eszterkineziologia.hu where the WordGrass theme is used.
Dear Dave!

The theme did not work well, so I returned to the old one.
I'm turning on the new one now.
Hi!

As I can see the theme works properly, but you deleted search box at the top. Probably, you have deleted it incorrect.

"boxed-container" is closed right after the Logotype, however, in the original theme it also contains two menus inside it. You need to delete closing div tag after logo which is left by you and add it before the </header> tag.

If this doesn't work you may just roll back your changes by using the original header.php file of the theme.
Hi!

I changed the header.php to the original.
There is no change in menus.
Hi!

As I can see there are many errors in the browser console:
Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(...).swipe is not a function

There are no errors in the original version of the theme. Please, download the original version of the theme, disable your plugins and you won't get any problems. If jQuery have an error, menu won't work for sure. Currently it looks like you disabled jQuery. Since you have made changes to the header.php file of the theme I can't be sure that you didn't make changed to the functions.php or other files of the theme. I would better recommend you to download and install the original version of the theme.
Dear Dave!

I downloaded and installed the theme Itobuz, I closed all the plugin.
No changes. First picture.
I turned on Wordpress Twenty Thirteen theme.
Everything works perfectly. Second picture.
There is some problem at the root of SMThemes themes.

Dear Dave!

I solved the problem.
Subscribing to a newsletter in the footer killed the template.
This problem was caused only by SMThemes templates and not in Worpress templates. Why?
I'm waiting for your solution.

Gabor
Hi!
I've downloaded the latest version of Itobuz and installed it to check the thing you are writing about. I don't get any problem with this theme:
https://ibb.co/gMd0sa
It is working properly. Disabling plugins is not enough. If you inserted some script into your website and it is broken then jQuery of the entire website won't work. This is the only probable reason why this theme doesn't work only on your website.

Wordpress Twenty Thirteen theme is very simple. It hardly have any scripts for its functionality. That's why your site doesn't have any problems with this theme. There is nothing to conflict with your code.
