Static slider on pages

Hi!

I've seen this question asked but no replies yet. I wanted to know if there's a way to have the slider active on the home page, but instead have a static image (with the same design) on individual pages.

For instance, the homepage would rotate between a few images, but once you click on one, it takes you to a page where the same image is static.
