How do I enter my social profile information into the icons in the footer. It still says "mail@yourdomain.com" for instance.

How can I change the linkedin icon to a pintrest share button as I see here in the forum?

You have to customize the widget Social profiles on page Appearance --> Widgets in the dashboard. Click on it and adjust your email settings.

Sorry Dave, not following you. Attached is the screen I'm looking at after hitting appearance then widgets. Are you referring to appearance then perfume then social buttons?

If so that only allows me to change the side bar not the social icons in the footer.

Social icons is the default widgets that is displayed when a new blog is created. To customize it you have to drag this widget "Social icons" to the Footer3 and to click on it. Here you can see as I do : http://s019.radikal.ru/i602/1308/f8/8986ddce5a1f.png.
If you add widget to the Footer 3, the default widgets won't be displayed.

found them but they still dont work when I enter the info, i put my email in and still get Mailto

The social icon "email" just give you an opportunity to create a feedback form. You have to specify the URL of the page where the form is located or a link to open a frame. It depends on your preferences.
