Social Buttons Dont work can i remove from toolbar

After I purchased the theme and activated it the social buttons on the format bar for new posts stopped working. specifically the you tube button. In firefox it gives the thumbnail but pops out to youtube when clicked in ie the video don't show at all. If there is no fix can I remove it from the toolbar its confusing users. since it don't work. This is my first theme purchase and I'm frustrated i've had to go back through other post and change the youtube links to the built in wordpress code. Please help with this issue.
