Slider Images do not align with the image box

I have added a few slider images and they don't align properly. They are all way oversized for the slider box. How can I fix this?

Also, the custom text to replace the logo doesn't look very "custom" to me. Is there a better way to use this feature?

You have to upload the image with the same size as our pictures are. There is no alignment for slider. To customize "Custom Text" you have to edit the files of theme. Editing of this feature was discussed here:
