search and color questions

Hello to all!

Im starting to use Jellybean theme on 2 of my sites.

I would like to remove the search field from the header. I don't want to delete from everywhere on the site but on header.

Plus, I using Tab widget and the active tab color is not so visible (light grey) Where can I change the colour of it?
