Replaced slider images by FTP - NEW TEXT does not save at all

I replaced the images for the SLIDERS via FTP because the theme does not keep or SAVE NEW IMAGES. And then, new text for the new slides won't stay, save or work. It just disappears as if I never wrote anything.
Happens with a lot of features, there needs to be a save button or something that reassures the code or overwrites the default images and text.

HOW CAN I CHANGE THE TEXT AND HAVE IT STAY ON THE SLIDES?

I have the same problem with the slider I use. Did you get an answer to fix this?? Using FTP seems to be the only way to fix this, using the wordpress theme -> slider option doesn't seem to save anything.

To save changes you have to click on a check mark on the right on page Slider, Layout and so on.
