Remove featured image from postpage

Hi

I'm in the middle of sorting out my site at the moment and I would like to remove the featured image from appearing within the page. I want it to be a featured image only, is that possible?

Same thing here:
I ad an image to the post, I want to make it as the featured image and is posting it again in the post cropped as a thumbnail... but I need it just to be the thumbnail so it can appear nice in the facebook share.
