Related post didnt show up any pics

I am new to SMThemes, I am using Barbie theme right now. I noticed that "related posts" didn't show picture of the posts, is it any way that I can make them show pictures?

related posts normally show the thumbnail-picture (featured image) of the post.

so I need to set up a featured image for each post?
