related post by category

It seems that the related post appears by same tag,
I want to show related post by the same category,
Is it possible?

I found the solution ,I remove the "if ($tags) {" section in relatedpost.php and it now select only from category.
but it selects last created posts for related post and I want to select post in random. is it possible?
