Problem installing the theme

Hi,
I uploaded the theme "Garage" to my wordpress site via ftp, but when I try to activate it, all the pages of my website turn white and when I come back to "themes", it says that the theme is broken and there's a "Parse Error" in the first line of the administrator.php file. My host is Aruba and I'm writing you from Italy.
Is there something I can do about it?
I really wish I could use one of your themes, because they really look great!

What is the transfer mode you are using to upload the theme ASCII or binary? Try to change it.

I tried both modes and barely nothing changed, now it says:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /web/htdocs/www.britneyzoneitalia.com/home/wp-content/themes/garage/inc/administrator.php on line 31
