The activation issue has been resolved via email as I know, hasn't it?
To get rid of missing image errors you need to delete a couple of lines in the style.css file of the theme:
1) background:url(images/hoverli.png) 50% bottom no-repeat;
2) background:url(images/slider.png) left top repeat-y;
