Logo Size

I'm trying out MiddleEarth before I activate but there are a couple of things that I need answers on before I do that. What must the dimensions of your logo file be. When you don't use a logo in your templates can you increase the size of the header title actually can you change the fonts color and sizes of any text in your templates?
