Link to other website from Menu

Hi,

I need to create a menu button, called webshop, that links directly to another external website. I tried WP custom menu's, but it seems the ForChild theme overwrites that.

There is no features of the theme that overwrite the base WordPress themes. You just have to create your own menu and adjust it according to your preferences. Try to use the following instruction: http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Menu_User_Guide.

I have no idea what I did wrong the first time, indeed it's working fine.

Sorry, think I got put on the wrong feet when other plugins like social media and calender did not show up in posts...thought maybe the code for it to be displayed was all removed (see my other thread).
