Is it possible to delete the search field

Is it possible to delete the search field from the top of the site, if you don´t need it? It looks so bad in mobile phones!

I also wonder if it´s possible to delead the top menu completely? I know that I can make an empty menu so it isn´t visible in the top of the site. But still you see two drop down menues (and a search field) in the top of your site if you look at it from a cell phone. It looks sooo ugly.
