iPadWindows Phone slider not working

Hi,

I have purchased and installed the "Desert" theme, and edited the home page slider images to show our own. It all works fine on the desktop and laptop, but the slider doesn't show up correctly on iPad or on a Windows Phone. I see the first photo for a split second, then it disappears and shows an empty box.

I tried it using the site http://ipadpreview.com/ but even your demo of the Desert theme doesn't show the slider in there (using the URL http://smthemes.com/demowp/?preview=1&template=desert&stylesheet=desert )

As a follow-up, I've also installed the default Desert theme on my own website at https://www.teijssen.be/

As you can see in http://ipadpreview.com/previewer?url=https://www.teijssen.be/ the slider doesn't work either...
