Insert link function in article not working

Hi,

I have this theme for 4 monthes now. The insert link function in articles sections never worked. I thought that with the upgrade to 3.5 it would resolve the problem but it is not the case. This is a real problem for my site. Can someone help me to fix this?
I also would like to remove the keywords cloud in the footer; but it is not appearing in the widgets area.
