index page news posts without sidebar

Hi,

Is it possible to remove the sidebar from the news index page. I've tried changing the content layout option to "no sidebars" and although this works on other pages, it has no effect on the blog index.

We are using a static pages as the home page with /news being the blog index.

There is only two options - the "Content layout" option that sets layout for all your pages (you can set it on page Theme Settings --> Layout in the dashboard of your website ) and custom layout for a post/page ( you can set it for any page when editing it in the administrative panel ). However, you can't specify different layouts for category pages. Content layout will be applied to the all category pages.
