How to create page template without sidebar

Hi,

I love your theme and I'm working on customising it for a school. One problem I'm having is that I would like a page template that has no sidebar.

Usually, I would copy/paste the page.php file, rename it, then remove the call to get_sidebar() etc but the existing page.php doesn't have a call to this function.

Can anyone please advise how I can create a page template with no sidebar and where the content extends to where the sidebar usually is.

To fix this you don't have to edit code at all. All that you need is to set the "Content Layout" when editing the page.
