How to Add calendar by footer

I bought the GirlsBook blog and on the Demo it has all these nice calendar, social media icons
at bottom and also the "Recent Post has the Dated Stacked on top of each other.

How do I achieve all this and add it to my blog? The demo has it all how can I do the same?
