Hide categories area under slideshow

Hi guys,

I want to hide the categories area shown direct under the slideshow. I found no possibility to do this inside the theme settings. Is there a way for that?

Сreate a menu on page Appearance => Menus in your Dashboard. Then you set it as a Main menu.
