Gallery function not working

Hi, I have been trying to load the gallery function i the specific theme but it keeps loading the image in a new page and not in a lightbox as it is supposed to...

The function works if the dynamic content load function in deactivated.

I have even tried to load the NextGen Gallery plugin to place the gallery. The gallery loads fine when the page is loaded, but when I click an image to view the big picture, it slows loading for a second and then opens the image only in a new page and not the image in a lightbox as it is supposed to.

Is there a way around it. Please help. I like the dynamic load feature but unfortunately its not loading the gallery as it is supposed to.
