Filmatica - Limiting posts on homepage

Morning,

I'm trying to limit the amount of posts on the home page but the theme seems to be overiding anything i select under reading in settings. I can't find a plugin that works and am very new to coding so any help would be fantastic! I ideally want 5 posts with a previous/next button at the bottom

Hey mate, this can be done through wordpress settings, no need to change the theme settings.

1) Go to your dashboard
2) Navigate to Settings
3) Select Reading Settings
4) You will see the folowing two options:
1)Blog pages show at most
2)Syndication feeds show the most recent
5) Change the values of these to desired amount.
