I turned on 'Cut content in the feed'
Set the 'Length of content in the feed' to 500 or 2400, but the length of the excerpt stays the same (see screenshot).

Can you help me fix it?

If you use "more" tag in the Text Editor it can cause such problems.
Besides, you need to refresh the page with F5+CTRL. Perhaps, your browser still loads the old settings.
