Different Layouts-Same Images- Different Image Sizes

I have a POST with an image of 600px wide, when the Post is displayed on the Home Page the image needs to be specified as 400px

Please see attached pic. The same 600px image needs to be displayed as 400px

The theme doesn't provide such options. You may only set the deafult image size for all featured images on your website using the option "Loop image width" & "Loop image height" on page Theme Settings --> Layout in the dashboard of your website.
