Creating a Child Theme for CreativeCom theme

I figured I would just create my own topic, even though I asked the same question on another thread. I want to create a child theme for CreativeCom. I have already made all of my changes to my child's style.css file. I also have made changes to a couple of other .css files in the css folder. None of my changes are showing up....I read on another thread that I need to make changes to the library.php file -- could you please elaborate?
