Add new template for new category

Hi

I am looking to see if it's possible to add 2 new category templates to Paint Press, and other themes.

I have seen some info on how to add yet when it comes to framework themes they say talk to the maker.

If I can do this for the Paint Press theme can I take that knowledge to other templates?
