I am having problems with the submenu in the man navigation of http://shafyativ.org/
When you hover over About and Media the background behaves strangely. Loads fine and then settles double.

Please help me with this as we want to go live in the next couple of days.

You have a conflict in jetpack plugin. Code in jQuery(document).ready(function() { in the head executes twice. Please try to disable jetpack to check it.
