Dave?
Unfortunately, the opacity of this element is not customizable.
The only thing you can do is to set the fixed opacity for this element by editing the following code in the file css --> index.css:
#scrollUp { position:fixed; top:0; left:0; bottom:0; width:40px; background:#000; opacity: 0.0; filter: alpha(opacity=0); cursor:pointer; z-index:999; }

Just replace it with:

#scrollUp { position:fixed; top:0; left:0; bottom:0; width:40px; background:#000; opacity: 0.6 !important; filter: alpha(opacity=0); cursor:pointer; z-index:999; }

Hi again Dave

I tried to change the opacity but when scrolling down the bar opacity wont change, wich value should i change to make it more visiable when scrolled down ?
It is impossible to adjust. We don't provide any services for editing themes for individual users. To fix this you have to write your own code (js/html/php) to add this feature.
